So können Sie in den Kunstgalerien in dem Einkaufsviertel der Smith Street Mall einen ersten Eindruck dieser Kultur gewinnen. Ein Besuch im Museum und der Kunstgalerie des Northern Territory klärt weitergehend über die multikulturelle Geschichte dieser Region auf. Das Northern Territory ist für seine gefährlichen Meereskrokodile bekannt. Um diese Tiere in voller Sicherheit zu beobachten und weitere australische Reptilien kennenzulernen, bietet sich ein Besuch der Crocosaurus Cove im Stadtzentrum an. Wenn Sie ein wenig Zeit mitbringen, können Sie auch die Umgebung der Stadt erkunden. Der nur eineinhalb Stunden südlich gelegene Nationalpark Litchfield lädt mit seinen Wasserfällen und seinem tropischen Regenwald zur Entdeckung ein.
